Maintenance Guidelines for Hot Part Transfer Conveyor
- Power Off Requirement: Before inspecting or performing maintenance on any mechanical components, the power supply must be completely turned off.
- Safety Around Chain Mechanism: The entire transport system of the pallet is chain-based. Therefore, during operation, do not approach the conveyor with any object that could become trapped between the chains.
- Heat Precautions: During operation, avoid placing any heat-sensitive materials near the conveyor, as the transported parts are hot and may cause thermal damage.
- Monthly Pallet Tension Check: Inspect the tension of the pallet mechanism monthly. If sagging is detected, tighten the tension bolts until the sag is eliminated.
- Drive Unit Lubrication: During monthly maintenance, open the covers of the grease fittings on the conveyor’s drive unit bearings and apply grease. Close the covers once lubrication is complete.
