It is mandatory to turn off the power supply before inspecting or servicing mechanical equipment.
At the end of the day, allow the chip conveyor to run for at least 5 minutes after shutting down the machine tool. This ensures complete evacuation of chips.
Wipe off any coolant splashed onto the chip conveyor at the end of the day to extend its service life.
During monthly maintenance, shut down the machine and remove any chips stuck between the conveyor’s pallet mechanism.
Check the tension of the pallet mechanism monthly. If sagging is detected, tighten the tension bolts until the sag is eliminated.
For monthly maintenance, open the covers of the grease fittings on the conveyor’s drive mechanism bearings and lubricate with grease. After lubrication, close the covers properly.
