- Before inspecting or performing maintenance on mechanical devices, it is mandatory to disconnect the power supply.
- At the end of the day, allow the chip conveyor to continue operating for at least 5 minutes after the machine tool is turned off. This ensures complete chip evacuation.
- Wipe off any cutting fluids splashed onto the chip conveyor at the end of the day to extend its service life.
- Maintenance intervals are longer compared to other types of conveyors. If the stability of the pallet movement sound deteriorates or unusual noise occurs, the pallet tension must be adjusted.
- During monthly maintenance, open the grease fittings’ covers on the conveyor’s drive mechanism bearings and lubricate them with grease. After the process, close the grease fitting covers securely.
